98 Operator & Administrator in Kolkata Police (For Graduates & Post Graduates )
Office of the Commissioner of Police Kolkata, under Govt. of West Bengal is going to recruit 98 persons for the post of Computer Operator. Software Support Personnel, System Administrator, Software Developer and Supervisor Level- III on contractual basis.
POST- Computer Operator
Number of Vacancy :
40 (Gen: 17, SC:10,ST:03,OBC A: 06, OBC B: 04)
Education qualification :
Graduates in any discipline of any recognised University/ Institute are eligible for the post. In addition to this qualification, candidates must possess certificate in Computer Application from any recognised Institute.
Age:
Age should be within 35 years as on 01.01.2017, OBC & SC/ST candidates will get relaxation in age by 3 years & 5 years respectively. Ex-servicemen & Physically challenged candidates will get exemption in age as per the Govt. Rules.
POST :- System Administrator
Number of Vacancy :
06 (Gen: 03, SC:01,ST:01,OBC A: 01)
Education qualification :
Graduates (B.E/B.Teach) of any recognised University/ Institute are eligible for the post Graduates in Computer Application (MCA)/ Computer Science (M.Sc) of any recognised University / Institute may also apply. In addition to this qualification. candidates must possess OEM L2. Certification on System/ Server Linux or System/ Server- Windows.
Age:

should be within 35 years as on 01.01.2017, OBC & SC/ST candidates
will get relaxation in age by 3 years & 5 years respectively.
Ex-servicemen & Physically challenged candidates will get exemption
in age as per the Govt. Rules.
Post :- Software Support Personnel

Education qualification :
Candidates who have passed Post Graduate Diploma Course in Computer Application (PGDCA) from any recognised University/ Institute are eligible for the post Graduates in Computer Science (b.Sc)/ Computer Application (BCA) of any recognised University/ Institute may also apply. Candidates who habe passed "A" level computer course of 3 years duration from DOEACC are also eligible. In addition to this qualification. candidates should be proficient in Installation. Maintenace of application software & DBMS and implementation support.

POST: Software Developer
Number of Vacancy :10 ( Gen : 01, SC: 05, ST: 01, OBC A; 02, OBC B: 01)
Education qualification :
Post Graduates (M.sc) or Gradates (B.E/ B.Tech) in Computer Science / Information Technology of any recignised University/ Institue with at least 1st Class marks or its equivalent grade in aggregate are eligible for the post. Post Graduates (MCA) in computer Applications of any recognised University/ Institute with at least 1st Class marks or its equivalent grade in aggregate may also apply. In addition to this qualification , candidates should be proficient in software design, development, documentation & implementation supports.

Teach ) in computer Science/ information Technology of any recognised University / Institute with least 1st Class marks or its equivalent grade in aggregate are eligible for the post. Post Graduates (MCA) in Computer Application of any recognised university / Institute with at least 1st class marks or its equivalent grade in aggregate may also apply. In software design development documentation & implementation support .
